Getting started

What’s the best place to start for my child?

If your child is anxious, stuck, or needs structure, start with a taster 1-1 session. If they’re fairly independent and just need a roadmap, start with Maths Made Simple. If time is tight, choose a Crash Course.

If they can sit down and study alone but lack clarity, the book is usually enough. If confidence is low, they avoid maths, or they don’t know where to begin, 1-1 support gives them the calm space to rebuild.

That’s exactly who we’re built for. We focus on clarity first, small steps, no judgement, so confidence returns and progress becomes possible again.

Yes. Many students we support find maths harder in a busy classroom. We tailor sessions to the student and keep things calm, structured, and encouraging.

Yes—foundations are often the real blocker. We identify the gaps first, rebuild what’s missing, then move forward with a clear plan.

Logistics & Policies

You’re not just buying “an hour.” You get a system: the lesson itself plus visibility and structure so progress continues between sessions (recordings, feedback, and weekly accountability where applicable).

Most students do best with short, consistent practice (even 15–30 minutes a few times a week). The goal isn’t long study sessions—it’s steady momentum.

No problem. Families often pause around busy periods and restart when things settle. If you’re unsure, our team can recommend the best timing for your child.

Yes, when it’s structured and interactive. Our sessions are live and focused, and students can rewatch explanations before tests, which is often where the “click” happens.

You can contact our team anytime and we’ll point you in the right direction, whether you need help choosing a product, scheduling, or general guidance.
