1. About this policy
This Cookies Policy explains how England Maths, operated by Tutor Growth LTD (“England Maths”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.
Cookies help us operate our website, remember user preferences, understand how visitors use our website and, where permission has been provided, measure and improve our advertising.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, phone or other device when you visit a website. Some cookies remain only for the duration of your visit, while others remain for a set period or until you delete them.
Similar technologies, including pixels, tags, device identifiers and local storage, may perform comparable functions.
3. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function correctly. They may be used to:
Operate the shopping basket and checkout
Process secure payments
Allow users to log in to their accounts
Prevent fraud and protect website security
Remember cookie preferences
Deliver services specifically requested by the user
Strictly necessary cookies cannot generally be switched off through our cookie preference tool because the website may not function correctly without them. Consent is not normally required where a cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user.
Functional cookies
Functional cookies remember choices you make, such as login details, preferred settings or previously viewed content.
These cookies will only be used where you have provided consent, unless they are strictly necessary to provide a feature you specifically requested.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website, including:
Which pages are visited
How long visitors spend on a page
How visitors move through the website
Whether website errors occur
How customers find our website
These may include services such as Google Analytics or similar analytics providers. Analytics cookies will not be activated unless the user provides consent, except where their use is otherwise permitted without consent under applicable law.
Advertising and marketing cookies
Advertising cookies and tracking pixels may be used to:
Measure the effectiveness of advertising
Prevent the same advertisement being shown too frequently
Create audiences for advertising campaigns
Show advertisements that may be more relevant
Understand whether an advertisement resulted in a sale or enquiry
These may include technologies supplied by Meta, Google, TikTok or other advertising providers. Advertising and marketing cookies will not be activated unless the user provides consent.
4. Cookie consent
When you first visit our website, you will be given the option to:
Accept all cookies
Reject non-essential cookies
Manage preferences
Non-essential cookies will remain disabled unless you actively choose to enable them.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting the Cookie Settings link in the website footer.
We may ask you to review your cookie preferences periodically, particularly where our use of cookies, website features or technology providers changes.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are supplied by third parties that provide services to us, including:

Expiry period
6. Managing cookies through your browser
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website, checkout or account area from functioning correctly.

Direct Marketing and Communications Policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
1. Marketing communications
Where you have provided permission, or where we are otherwise permitted to do so under UK law, England Maths may contact you with information about:
Maths Made Simple books
Monthly subscriptions and video courses
1-to-1 maths tutoring
Live classes and masterclasses
GCSE revision and crash courses
Study resources and revision advice
Discounts, promotions and special offers
New products or services
Marketing communications may be sent by email, SMS, WhatsApp or another electronic channel where you have consented or where we are otherwise permitted to contact you under applicable law.
2. Marketing consent is optional
Consent to receive marketing is voluntary and is not a condition of:
Making a purchase
Registering an account
Booking a class
Receiving customer support
Accessing a product or service already purchased
Marketing consent checkboxes will not be pre-ticked.
3. Existing and prospective customers
Where permitted under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may contact an existing or prospective customer about England Maths products or services that are similar to something they previously purchased or actively expressed an interest in purchasing.
We will only rely on this provision, commonly known as the soft opt-in, where:
We obtained the person’s contact details directly from them
We obtained the details while selling or genuinely negotiating to sell a product or service
The communication concerns our own similar products or services
The person was given a clear opportunity to opt out when their details were collected
Every subsequent marketing message includes a simple opt-out method
A person does not need to complete a purchase for genuine negotiations for a sale to take place. However, simply visiting or browsing our website is not sufficient.
We will not rely on the soft opt-in for contact details obtained from a third party.
4. Service communications
Certain messages are not marketing messages and may still be sent where required to deliver a product or service. These include:
Order confirmations
Payment receipts
Dispatch and delivery information
Class reminders
Schedule changes
Account or password notifications
Important changes affecting a purchased service
Safeguarding or customer-support communications
We will not add unrelated promotional material to a service communication where doing so would cause the communication to become a marketing message.
5. Withdrawing consent and opting out
You can stop receiving marketing at any time by:
Selecting the unsubscribe link in an email
Replying STOP to an SMS where that facility is available
Asking us through WhatsApp
Emailing admin@englandmaths.co.uk
Each electronic marketing communication will include a valid and straightforward method of opting out.
Opt-out requests will be implemented promptly. We may retain limited information on a suppression list to ensure that a person who has opted out is not accidentally added back to an active marketing list.
6. Marketing to parents and students
Where the student is under 18, marketing communications will normally be directed to the parent or guardian whose contact details were provided.
We do not knowingly send direct marketing to a child using contact details collected without appropriate permission or another valid legal basis.
7. Sharing marketing information
We do not sell or rent personal contact details.
We may use trusted service providers to deliver communications, manage mailing lists or measure campaign performance. These providers may only process personal information on our instructions and for the agreed purpose.
8. Contact
Questions or requests concerning marketing preferences can be sent to:

Shipping and Delivery Policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
1. Products covered by this policy
This Shipping and Delivery Policy applies to physical products purchased from England Maths, including Maths Made Simple books and printed materials.
Digital courses, subscriptions and online tutoring services are delivered electronically and are not subject to physical shipping.
2. Order processing
Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 1–2 working days.
Orders placed after the daily dispatch cut-off, during weekends or on public holidays will normally be processed on the next working day.
During launches, sales, examination periods or other high-volume periods, dispatch may take longer. Where a material delay is expected, we will provide an update using the contact details supplied with the order.
3. Estimated delivery times
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
United Kingdom: 2–5 working days
Republic of Ireland: 3–7 working days
Other European destinations: 5–10 working days
Other international destinations: 7–14 working days
These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. The delivery estimate applicable to an order will be displayed at checkout where possible.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the order is placed.
If an order is not delivered within the agreed period, the customer may provide a reasonable additional delivery period and may cancel the order for a refund if delivery still does not take place.
In certain circumstances, including where delivery by a particular date was essential and this was communicated before the order was placed, the customer may be entitled to cancel without providing an additional delivery period.
4. Shipping charges
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.
Any free-shipping threshold will be clearly stated on the website and may be changed or withdrawn for future orders.
5. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be sent by email or SMS after dispatch.
Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active after the parcel is collected by the carrier.
6. Delivery addresses
Customers are responsible for checking that the shipping address supplied at checkout is complete and correct.
If an incorrect address is identified before dispatch, contact admin@englandmaths.co.uk immediately.
Once an order has been dispatched, we may be unable to change the delivery address.
Where a parcel is returned because the address was incorrect, incomplete or could not be accessed, additional postage may be required before it is sent again.
7. Missed deliveries and unclaimed parcels
Where the carrier attempts delivery, the customer may need to:
Rearrange delivery
Collect the parcel from a specified location
Provide further delivery instructions
Parcels that are not collected may be returned to us. Additional delivery charges may apply if the customer asks us to dispatch the parcel again.
8. Delayed or missing orders
If an order has not arrived within the estimated delivery period, contact us with:
Customer name
Order number
Delivery address
Tracking number, where available
We will investigate the delivery with the carrier.
9. Damaged or incorrect deliveries
Please contact us as soon as possible if an order:
Arrives damaged
Contains the wrong product
Is missing an item
Appears to have been damaged during transit
Include photographs of the packaging and product where possible.
England Maths remains responsible for the goods until they are delivered into the physical possession of the customer or another person nominated by the customer.
10. Pre-orders
Where a product is sold as a pre-order, the estimated dispatch period will be displayed on the product page.
If an order contains both available and pre-order products, we may:
Hold the complete order until every item is available; or
Dispatch available items separately
The applicable arrangement will be stated at checkout, on the product page or in the order confirmation.
11. International customs charges
Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to:
Import VAT
Customs duties
Carrier administration fees
Other local charges
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the customer’s responsibility.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
1. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits or removes a customer’s rights under applicable UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For most goods and services purchased online, consumers normally have a 14-day cooling-off period.
For physical goods, the cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day the goods are received. For services, it normally ends 14 days after the day the contract is entered into.
Certain exceptions may apply depending on the product or service purchased.
2. Physical books: change-of-mind returns
A customer may cancel an online order for a physical book within 14 days of receiving it without providing a reason.
To cancel, the customer must notify us clearly at admin@englandmaths.co.uk within the 14-day period.
After notifying us, the customer must return the book within a further 14 days to the returns address shown on the parcel label or supplied by England Maths when we acknowledge the return request.
Unless the book is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning it.
For a full-order cancellation, the refund will include the price paid and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered at checkout.
Premium or express-delivery surcharges are not refundable where a less expensive standard delivery option was available.
3. Condition of returned books
Customers may inspect a book in the same way they could reasonably inspect it in a shop.
A refund may be reduced to reflect diminished value where the book has been:
Written in
Marked or highlighted
Torn or damaged
Excessively handled
Returned incomplete
Handled beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect it
Reasonable inspection does not require the product to remain completely unopened. However, a customer may be responsible for diminished value caused by excessive handling.
4. Faulty, damaged or incorrect books
If a book is faulty, damaged in transit, materially different from its description or not the product ordered, contact us as soon as possible.
We may request photographs to help resolve the issue promptly.
Depending on the circumstances and the customer’s applicable consumer rights, we may provide:
A replacement
A repair, where appropriate
A price reduction
A full or partial refund
Reasonable return postage for faulty, damaged or incorrect products will be paid or reimbursed by England Maths.
5. Refund processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed.
Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of:
Receiving the cancellation notice, where no physical return is required; or
Receiving the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been returned
We may withhold a refund for returned goods until we have received the goods or the customer provides evidence that they have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
A bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund after it has been processed.
6. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions continue and renew automatically until cancelled.
Customers can cancel a subscription through their account, by following the cancellation instructions provided at purchase or by emailing admin@englandmaths.co.uk.
Cancellation will stop future recurring charges. Unless otherwise required by law:
Access will continue until the end of the paid billing period
No further payment will be taken after the cancellation becomes effective
Payments for a billing period that has already begun are not normally refunded on a pro-rata basis
This does not affect statutory cooling-off rights or rights relating to a digital service that is faulty, unavailable or not supplied as agreed.
7. Subscription cooling-off period
A customer normally has 14 days from entering an online subscription contract to cancel.
Where the customer expressly requests that the subscription begins immediately during the cooling-off period, the customer may be charged a proportionate amount for the service supplied before cancellation.
Where standalone digital content is supplied immediately, the customer may lose the right to cancel once supply begins, provided the customer:
Expressly consented to immediate supply; and
Acknowledged that the cancellation right would be lost once supply began
8. Problems with digital content or subscription services
Where digital content or a subscription service does not work as described, customers should contact us so that we can restore access or correct the issue.
Where an issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, the customer may be entitled to a price reduction or refund, depending on the seriousness of the issue and applicable consumer law.
9. 1-to-1 tutoring classes
Classes may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 6 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
Where at least 6 hours’ notice is provided, the class may be:
Rescheduled; or
Returned as account credit, where applicable
Cancellations made less than 6 hours before the scheduled start time are normally charged in full.
A student who does not attend without notice will be treated as a no-show and the class will normally be charged.
Where England Maths or the assigned tutor cancels a class, the customer will receive:
A rescheduled class;
Account credit; or
A refund for the affected class where a suitable replacement cannot be provided
10. Classes delivered during the cooling-off period
The 6-hour scheduling rule is separate from statutory cooling-off rights.
Where a customer asks us to begin providing tutoring during the 14-day cooling-off period and later cancels the overall service contract, the customer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for classes already delivered before cancellation.
Where the agreed service has been fully performed during the cooling-off period, the right to cancel may end if the customer requested immediate performance and acknowledged that the cancellation right would be lost once the service was fully performed.
11. Live masterclasses and crash courses
Cancellation terms for separately purchased masterclasses and crash courses will be displayed on the relevant booking page.
Where statutory cooling-off rights apply, they remain unaffected.
A missed live event does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund where:
Access to the event was provided as agreed; and
The customer did not attend
Where England Maths cancels an event and does not provide a reasonable replacement date or equivalent service, the customer will receive a refund or credit for the affected event.
12. Book and subscription bundles
Where a physical book and subscription are purchased together:
The physical-book return rules apply to the book
The digital-service cancellation rules apply to the subscription
Returning the book does not automatically cancel the subscription
Cancelling the subscription does not automatically create a return request for the book
The customer should clearly state whether they wish to cancel the book, subscription or both.
Where a bundle discount was conditional on retaining both components, the refund may be recalculated to reflect the normal price of any component retained, but only where this condition was clearly disclosed before purchase.
13. How to request a refund or cancellation
Email admin@englandmaths.co.uk and include:
Customer or parent name
Student name, where relevant
Order or booking number
Product, subscription or class concerned
Purchase date
Reason for the request, where relevant
Photographs, where the product is damaged or incorrect
